- Traffic counting is an important element for planning and designing construction, extending and modernization of a city infrastructure

- There are 3 parameters basic for traffic flow analysis, traffic density, traffic volume and traffic velocity.  

 

- This project provided a solution for automatic traffic counting in real-time analysing only minimal amount of data

- The software automatically designated an interest strip based on the traffic flow.

- The software analysed the video information only in the selected strip, aiming to reduce the processing time.

- Calculus of speed and trajectory of the vehicles

- The software measured the amount of cars passing through the designated strip.
